After successfully holding four previous conferences, this year the School of Strategic and Global Studies, Universitas Indonesia, is collaborating with the Asian University Alliance (AUA) to hold an academic conference with the theme “Global Strategies for a Resilient and Sustainable Post-Pandemic World towards a Better Future for All.”
There is no doubt that the pandemic crisis threatens all aspects of human life. The 2021 AUA and ICSGS Academic Conference is calling academics, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from various specializations related to strategic global and sustainable development studies to share their trans/multidisciplinary research findings and professional experience to find ways to bring significant impacts to the post-pandemic world. It provides a platform for an intellectual dialog on the crucial topics related to post-pandemic crisis risks, impacts, and mitigation efforts. More extensive mitigation efforts are needed to achieve alertness to prepare ourselves for possible future pandemics and create a more resilient world for everyone. Finally, this event will also bridge and strengthen international networking and collaboration among the participants and collaborating among institutions.
The 2021 AUA and ICSGS Academic Conference is jointly organized by Universitas Indonesia, CSIS The University of Tokyo, Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology (TUMSAT), University of Malaya, and UCSI University.
