Call for Registration: 2026 Workshop on Case Teaching Innovation (Beijing, 28-30 August 2026)
As generative AI reshapes higher education, the core value of the classroom is shifting toward critical thinking, complex decision-making, and cross-cultural collaboration. To explore these frontiers, the School of Public Policy and Management (SPPM) at Tsinghua University is hosting the 2026 Workshop on Case Teaching Innovation: Global Classrooms and Learning Transformation in the Age of AI in Beijing from August 28–30, 2026.
Organized by the China Case Center for Public Policy and Management (CCCPPM), this workshop addresses the profound impacts of generative AI on higher education. As classrooms evolve, case-based learning remains a vital bridge connecting academic theory with real-world public governance and AI Applications in Teaching and Learning.

The program feature a series of specialized pedagogical modules led by Professor Arnold Howitt, Founder and Co-Director of the Program on Crisis Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS). Together with experienced faculty from Tsinghua SPPM, the program will explore advanced case teaching methodologies, live simulation demonstrations, and AI-driven governance case analysis.
The workshop is designed for educators, researchers, and academic administrators eager to elevate their case teaching methodologies and global classroom design. The “AI & Humans – Shaping the Future” International Academic Conference will be held on August 15–16, 2026, at the Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center in Bali, Indonesia.
Hosted by the Department of Psychological and Cognitive Sciences, Tsinghua University, and co-organized by SRT AI, Society & Social Dynamics, the Department of Psychology, and the Department of Geography at the Faculty of Social Sciences, The University of Hong Kong, the conference explores emerging questions at the intersection of artificial intelligence and human development.

Call for Application: 2026 'Climate x' Leadership Training Program (September 2026)
Co-initiated by the Global Alliance of Universities on Climate (GAUC) with strategic support from UNESCO and other global partners, the "Climate x" campaign is designed to empower youth with cutting-edge knowledge and transformative leadership skills. It encourages participants to turn learning into local action, build cross-cultural connections, and generate scalable impact. Since 2021, the campaign has reached nearly 600,000 people through over 500 local events worldwide, with more than 2,000 students from 79 countries actively involved.
By fostering a mindset that recognizes the synergies between climate action and the @UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this training equips the next generation to envision a sustainable future, drive innovation, and unleash their potential to lead the transition to a net-zero world.
