Tsinghua SIGS Global Summer School offers students an opportunity to gain a systematic understanding of academics at Tsinghua SIGS, by showing how interdisciplinary learning breaks barriers and how integration creates innovation. As part of the program, students can choose among seven areas to explore.
Throughout a 2-week program, the summer school provides:
- Lectures delivered by accaimed Tsinghua faculty
- Opportunities for group discussions and projects
- Site visits to innovative labs in SIGS and leading enterprises located in Shenzhen, China
- Field trip and cultural activity to explore the history and beauty of China.

[UTokyo] GUC 2024 Application Now Available on the Website!
UTokyo Global Unit Courses (UTokyo GUC) for the summer of 2024 is now open for application. These short-term intensive courses offer an excellent opportunity for students to experience the University of Tokyo and Japan. The course contents span humanities, social sciences, and STEM subjects (refer to the list of courses for 2024 on the GUC website).
The courses are taught entirely in English by cutting-edge scholars who are full-time faculty members of the University of Tokyo. Additionally, we provide Japanese language courses. Most courses can be completed in one or two weeks, and students will receive a Global Unit, along with a certificate upon course completion.
The online application is now open until 16:00 (Japan Standard Time), Friday, March 15th.
