The Asian Universities Alliance (AUA) Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E) Convenor Handover Ceremony between Tsinghua University (THU) and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) was successfully held at Seoul National University during the AUA Executives' Meeting 2025.
HKUST has served as the inaugural AUA I&E Network Convenor from November 4, 2024, to November 26, 2025. Tsinghua University was officially nominated and will hold the second AUA I&E Network Convenorship from 2025 to 2026.
The handover session underscored AUA’s commitment to fostering innovative thinking and entrepreneurial spirit across Asia. Representatives from both member universities emphasized that the smooth handover will further amplify the alliance’s impact in driving innovative solutions through academic cooperation.
