2026 AUA-UM Postgraduate Academic Forum on AI-Powered Insights: The New Era of Data-Driven Intelligence organized by the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FSKTM), Universiti Malaya, will be held hybrid from 17th to 18th April 2026.
The forum will bring together postgraduate students from AUA member universities to share research, exchange ideas,and foster regional academic collaboration in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence and data-driven technologies.
Forum Objectives
This two-day postgraduate academic forum aims to:
Provide a platform for postgraduate students to present and discuss original research related to AI-powered and data-driven intelligence;
Strengthen research capabilities, academic communication, and interdisciplinary perspectives among postgraduate researchers; and
Encourage networking and future collaboration among AUA member universities in AI, data science, and related domains.

AI-powered insights represent a paradigm shift in how data is collected, analysed, and transformed into actionable intelligence. Advances in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics are reshaping decision-making processes across sectors,including education, healthcare, industry, governance, and society. As data-driven intelligence becomes increasingly central to innovation and policy, it is critical to examine both its transformative potential and the associated technical, ethical,and societal challenges. This forum provides a scholarly platform to explore these emerging complexities within an Asian and global context.

Eligibility and Review Process
Open to Master’s and Doctoral students from AUA member universities
Submissions must present original, unpublished research or well-documented case studies
Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee, and selected based on relevance, originality, methodological rigor, and clarity

Participation is free for postgraduate students from AUA member universities
A stipend of USD100 will be provided to AUA members. (Limited to two (2)participants from each AUA members Universities)
